Rule No. 2: Pick a boring business. Everyone is always on the lookout for “the next big thing.” The next big thing is finding rare earth minerals on Mars. That’s HARD WORK. Don’t do it! Bryan picked a business that every merchant in the world needs and he also knew that it was an exploding business because of all the online stores that were opening up. You don’t have to come up with the new, new thing. Just do the old, old thing slightly better than everyone else. And when you are nimble and smaller than the behemoths that are stuck with bureaucracy, you can often offer better sales and better service, and higher touch to your customers. Customers will switch to you.
For those of you who aren’t familiar with the military, a battle buddy is someone you are introduced to during basic training. Your battle buddy becomes somewhat of a “best friend.” They know everything about you – the good, the bad, and the ugly.
Often they will pay these people on a CPA basis which means if you sign up and buy into the program the original person who sent the sale will get paid a flat fee. Let’s say you sign up for $50 the affiliate that referred you will probably end up earning around $80.
Many of you are amazed at how much content I publish every month. I wanted to take you behind the scenes as once you understand my strategy, you won’t be that amazed and you’ll probably be able to do the same yourself (and get better results than me).
Consider having a permanent presence on online by putting up your own website. Use it to share hobbies, thoughts, and passions with others and use your page to make real connections with people. The mechanics are straightforward, and you’ll be in a position to profit from online advertising (e.g. Google Adwords), affiliate marketing (see next slide), and subscriber-based lists to produce a steady stream of income. There are many ways to make money with a blog.
If you don’t earn even an average income, all is not lost. It is up to you to do something about it. A negative attitude about your job or your earning potential won’t change anything. Be proactive and make the decision to improve your situation. It is your life, so take control and realize that things don’t change overnight. It may take a few years of slow growth before you reach the point where you want to be, but you can do it if you try. Remember, short of inheriting money from a relative or winning the lottery, you will need reasonable income to become a millionaire.
In fact, your goal should be to make your income stream your own golden handcuffs. It’s what big companies try to do with talented people. They try and suck you into future revenue so you’re like, “I can’t leave this job. It would cost me too much to leave this job.”
I appreciate your kind words and I’m pleased my article on My Millionaire Mentor was useful. Part of me still wishes it was as easy to make millions as these scams promise, but that just isn’t reality.
It all started when he realized that he was living far below his potential. After years of drug abuse and failing at life, Daniel was fed up. One day, he went to his local library and searched endlessly for truth. After discovering a few books, he decided to turn his life around. For many years, Daniel gave thousands of speeches, reached millions of people, and built successful companies, making Daniel a millionaire in the process. Search on the internet and you’ll find that TIME, Fortune, Business Insider, Yahoo, and other major publications have enjoyed Daniel’s work. He is also a top contributor on Entrepreneur Magazine. He is the author of two best-selling books, which can be found in 46 different countries in thousands of libraries. From billionaires in Boston to amateurs in Austin, Daniel has traveled to hundreds of cities, shaking hands and connecting with all kinds of people across the globe.
In the video, some guy claims to be “Ryan Mathews, the owner of My Millionaire Mentor”. But who exactly is Ryan Mathews? He does not exist. It’s simply a fake person the owners made up so you can relate to him in the video. He tells you his life story with his struggles and you feel closer to him. He tells you he’s just a regular guy – just like you – and that any regular guy can make money using his system. But the truth is that there is no sign of this person anywhere on the internet. The real owners do not want to put their faces and name out there – because they know they will be in trouble once they get caught for scamming. Think about it – if you had really come up with such a perfect system to make money online, don’t you think you’ll give a couple interviews and would want to share it with everyone you know?
The most successful people I know–both financially and in other ways–are shockingly helpful. They’re incredibly good at understanding other people and helping them achieve their goals. They know their success is ultimately based on the success of the people around them.
The final piece of the puzzle as I see it is the hardest to judge in real time but the easiest to see in hindsight. What I call “risk minimization” in retrospective terms may have actually been a GIANT LEAP that others have failed to take. Consider young Bill Gates, he partnered with Paul Allen, older and almost inarguably better equipped to write an implementation of BASIC for the Altair contract, then routinely berated his partner — Paul Allen Trashes Bill Gates Again, Says Early Days Of Microsoft Were Like “Hell” Nevertheless, Gates and Allen stuck together, outsmarted Altair and went on to even greater success with IBM, while sticking with their retained rights to their OS. Similar patterns of making a leap that would ensure their own success even as others around them failed are seen over and over not just in the ancient history of tech companies like Apple or even the original HP, but more recently in the story of Facebook and other more recent web success stories. Interestingly the same kinds of retention of rights was seen over and over by Stanley even when comes to some rather old fashioned type inventors. They had a good idea for a device or process, patented and then choose not to sell it or let somebody else take it over, but figured out how to commercialize / monetize the inventions AND use it generate streams of income that they put back into the company / process for even greater revenue down the road.
Of course, it doesn’t start out like that. You’ve got to build your portfolio and your résumé, blah blah blah. If you’re interested in writing, I’m sure you know this. If you’re not interested in writing, I wouldn’t recommend traveling down this road just for the money.
How exactly does the program work? Well first, you buy the 49$ product. You will then be convinced to spend another 89$ for website hosting. Which is waaaay too much – hosting should not cost you more than 10$/month until you have thousands of people on your site every day. And nowhere do they even mention that you will have to spend that extra 89$! In fact you can even find free website hosting.
Now that you are saving money, you need to invest it wisely. Sticking it under the mattress or slowly building up in a savings account isn’t going to help you reach your goals any faster. You don’t have to read the Wall Street Journal or watch CNBC everyday while actively managing your portfolio in order to be a good investor. Some of the best investment advice is to simply invest regularly and in a diversified portfolio. If you do this you’ll already be doing more than most people and on your way to building wealth.

I’m not surprised that they use Fiverr actors. Since I learnt through your site about other scams that use them, I’ve become a detective trying to find the real deal behind any so-called testimonial that I see.
A lot of companies are looking for part-time bloggers to help them create high-value blog posts for their websites, which creates great opportunities for those with a knack for writing compelling content. Most clients pay per post or on a retainer contract with a set number of posts delivered per month. The best thing about becoming a freelance writer is that you can even start a freelance business on the side while keeping your day job with just a few hours per day. As a starting point, create freelancer accounts on the leading online marketplaces like Upwork, PeoplePerHour, and Freelancer. Then, once you’re ready to branch off and start charging higher rates, you’ll want to build your own portfolio website and reach more valuable clients in other ways.
This is a great post. I have never interviewed anyone one yet but this is a motivation to do so. Also loved the “pay for their time” advise. Thanks for sharing the awesome information! Will be waiting for more of this kind!
I am 22 years old and I barely finished high school. I used to work in construction full time. I found Ron’s information riveting and could not stop thinking about real estate. One day when my boss told me we … Continue reading »

Brendan Gahan, a YouTube marketing expert and influencer, recommends you establish your baseline flat fee by looking at the number of views your videos typically get and multiplying it by 5 to 15 cents per view (which is around what many brands are willing to pay for views via YouTube ads).
As Siebold writes: “No one would ever strike it rich and live their dreams without huge expectations. Ancient wisdom says you get what you expect, yet many people decide to limit their lives to middle-class mediocrity in an effort to protect themselves from failure.”
Now you might be thinking what kind of opportunities have come his way from being an Instagram star. The one that stood out the most to me involves one of the latest ventures he’s involved in called Local Door Coupons. It’s a new business started in Florida in which Stone and his partners recently began to franchise.
Who are your competitors? How are they doing business-wise? Are they about to retire? Most businesses sell for two to five times their annual earnings or profits, and many parties who are interested in selling end up simply closing shop after not finding an interested buyer. Many times, you may be able to pick up a business that, when combined with a business you already own, could pay for itself within 12-18 months. This is one of the most expensive but quickest ways of reaching $1 million a year in sales. (To examine the flip side argument, read 7 Steps To Selling Your Small Business.)
There are hundreds of thousands of small business owners within the U.S. and millions around the world; they form a vibrant core to many national economies. However, a large portion of small businesses do not survive. According to the U.S. Small Business Administration, only about 31% of small businesses survive for at least seven years – never mind making it big.
You don’t need a high-paying job to become a millionaire by the time you retire (or even sooner). All you really need is a smart savings and investment strategy from the get-go, along with a willingness to adopt a lifestyle that supports that strategy. If you make savings a priority early on in your career, you’ll be well on your way to reaping what could be a significant financial reward down the line.
Yet Ryan Mathews is trying to convince you that an ordinary person with zero experience in the internet marketing can turn himself into a millionaire with these 21 short how-to’s (and few phone calls).

I’ve only just barely scraped the surface on what real estate investing can do for you in your quest to become a millionaire. In fact, there are so many different paths and strategies you could take to become a millionaire through real estate that I could write a thousand books on the topic and never cover it all.
