Thank you very much for your comment Alexis. You are right, those videos with only voice over PowerPoint presentations are extremely poor. I understand, it is much easier, cheaper, and also safer to produce. First, they don’t need to rent luxury villas, privates jets, Ferraris, etc. Second, they don’t need to hire actors. And third, if the guy in the video (only the voice) says that he is a super-duper success story John Smith but never show you any photo of himself, how on Earth can you prove he is a genuine person. Most probably he is not.
Jamie, I only very recently came across your interviews on YouTube (I think the first one I watched was with MJ DeMarco) but I absolutely love your style; it’s somehow both laid-back and to the point. I’ll definitely be watching more.
I know about MyLike. It’s not actually a scam, but like most of these kinds of sites, the amount of money you get for doing each act (be it clicking on ads or posting a comment, etc) is very small. So for most people it’s not worth effort.
Yet another great episode. Kudos to you Lewis! I really liked your explanation about the importance of learning to sale. I used to explain to my team that Sales is less about being “salesy” and more about 1. providing and building value 2. Educating and of course 3. Asking for the order. At the end of the day, we all just want to have enough information to make an informed decision on whether something makes sense for us to purchase at that time. ¡Viva España!
Subscription-based models and membership programs sell a customer once and earn a profit every month as long as you keep those customers happy. An example of this is a website information portal selling a service provider directory listing. The website charges $99 a month and receives that payment every single month of the year as long as the website remains popular and relevant. Passive income models could incorporate a low monthly fee for on-demand customer service or maintenance, subscription access to exclusive coaching or a newsletter with interviews, book reviews and market analysis on your industry.
According to recent stats we now watch more videos on YouTube than searches on Google. And with the recently introduced YouTube Partner Program you can now profit from making and uploading videos. You will receive a percentage of the advertising revenue collected per 1,000 views.
2. Each month, invest in a diversified investment portfolio. One of the most lucrative investing portfolios over time has been 50% in blue chip stocks and 50% in investment grade bonds. Over the last 100 years on average, blue chip stocks have paid 10% interest and investment grade bonds have paid 6%. This gives you an average return of 8%.
Serve as an online juror. Some attorneys use large panels of online mock jurors to get feedback on their cases before they go to trial. However, the mock jurors must live in the county or federal district where the case will be tried. You can sign up at a couple of sites and receive e-mail notifications if a case is posted in your area. EJury.com pays $5 to $10 per case via the online payment system PayPal. You can’t be an attorney, paralegal or legal assistant – or even related to an attorney – to participate. EJury says you’re likely to have better luck getting picked if you live in a large metropolitan area, where more cases are tried, rather than a rural area. The average case takes about 35 minutes to review. At OnlineVerdict.com, where cases typically take between 20 minutes and one hour to review, fees range from $20 to $60. Payment is made by check.
Take responsibility for the habits you choose to strengthen and cultivate, and be ruthless with the habits you choose to cut out. The Basal Ganglia is the part of the brain responsible for the development of habits, while the Prefrontal Cortex is the part of the brain responsible for complex decision making and thought processes.
If you aren’t on Instagram yet or you’re someone who thinks it’s unnecessary, this article is probably going to make you want to jump on the train before it’s too late. Not only because it’s a fun app to use, but because there is so much potential within the platform to do big things.
Millionaires educate themselves about investing and seek professional advice, choose high-quality blue chip stocks or mutual funds with good long-term performance records, invest consistently, and hold onto these quality investments over a long period of time.
CraigsList – Some things don’t ship very well. Other things may make you feel uncomfortable to sell to someone across the country. Anytime you’re selling a large item or something you just don’t want to ship, Craigslist is a great place to go. It’s simple to list your item (again, take good pictures!). If you don’t like the idea of putting your phone number out there, the interested individual can send you a message to your inbox without even getting your email address.
Craigslist is the modern equivalent of the classified ads that dominated the days of newspapers. These quick ads are easy to navigate and use, and they’re geographically linked. Whether you’re selling something or offering a service, this lifehack is a great place to start learning the intricacies of Craigslist.
Creating Software as a Service (SASS) and charging people to use it can be a good money earner. Charge your customers a one-off fee to access the tool you have created, or a monthly recurring payment. A useful and popular SASS can expect a high return, so if you have the programming skills for such a task it may be well worth your while.
Find your business sweet spot. There are only three pieces to this. First, know your strengths that are unique to you, or at least where you can add unique value. Then find a market, a group of people, who want what you have to offer. Finally, you have to make sure those people will pay money for what you have to offer.
There are other things you can do to make the process easier. You can, for example, set up an automatic savings or investment program so you don’t have to think about it. Out of sight, out of mind is a great motto when it comes to saving.

Everyone has a destiny, so we should leave our fortune up to it. If we are already bestowed with so much happiness already, why destroy it just for the greed of money? If we are destined to such fortune than let it come to us. Somewhere within everyone is rich, maybe not in money, but atleast from the heart…
A magazine ad for a high-end watch is delivered to 500,000 households. Of those 500,000, only 100,000 actually physically see the ad on page 43. Of those 100,000, 1,000 of them go to website to get more information on the product. Of those 1,000 website visitors, 5% (50 people) end up buying the $1,000 watch, bringing the company $50,000 in revenue.

Working from a life of little or nothing to living in the lap of luxury is the classic American dream. To become a billionaire, create opportunities, invest wisely and retain wealth. Here’s a theory of how to become a billionaire.
Ryan (or anybody): sometime back, I wanted to open up a Vanguard account. Long story short–that company won’t let me do so because I’m an expatriate (American living and working in Taiwan) with no USA address. Can you name some comparable companies that accept US expat investors?

There is nothing like being surrounded by successful people who enjoy freedom, are inspired and living a luxurious lifestyle. Many are now financially independent and are able to contribute to worthy causes!
I have known many people who lived frugally for many years, saved their income, invested their money in passive investments, and found themselves with a million dollars in net worth. They never started a business, they never bought an apartment building, and they didn’t win or inherit it. They simply used a firm grasp on their personal finance to become a millionaire.
The reason most people aren’t successful is because they either fear or avoid marketing. For the same reason, most people are bad teachers. They’re more focused on content than the delivery and design of that content.
