“how to become a deca millionaire +how many people have won a million on who wants to be a millionaire”

Of course, not every conversation with someone we don’t know qualifies for networking. It has to be relevant and done right. We have to find commonalities and make a favourable impression. There’s lots of dynamics that goes far beyond the “elevator speech.” And other times, we don’t have to unabashedly promote ourselves to be noticed and taken seriously, we just have do remarkable work.

Job well done, Satrap. The first thing I look for in a site like this are signs that the author is being paid to hype the companies. It’s very tough to find good information that isn’t stricken with bias. There were a couple of times during the article where I actually got excited thinking, ‘Hey, I could do that. I’d actually LOVE to do that.” That being said, I can’t help noticing that you refer to all of it as “extra” or “supplemental”income. Are you saying that with all of these options, sticking to one’s regular “day job” is required? In your experience, if someone really commits to doing this, is it possible to earn a decent living? Cubicles suck.

From all my years in finance, I’ve yet to meet a self-made influencer that hasn’t put in the long hours, the taking work home, the coming on the weekends when needed, the raising of their hand for more challenges. The reality is that the work-life balance many of us feverishly pursue can only take us this far.

Say your company offers 3% matching. If your yearly salary is $150,000 and you invest 3% of your yearly salary (~$5,000) into your 401k, your company would match you that amount — doubling your investment.

Is it something you have the skills for? If you don’t know anything about accounting except that the figures are supposed to balance, you probably don’t want to set up your own accounting business. You can always learn, of course, but your learning curve will affect the timetable for your financial plan.

Treat your online job seriously. If you want to succeed at earning money online, treat this new income stream seriously. That means acting professionally, responding to emails and meeting deadlines, experts say. In the world of freelancing, for example, reputation matters. If you want employers to continue to work with you and recommend your work, then maintaining a professional, reliable persona is essential to your new job as an online worker.

When many of us think of millionaires, we picture high-powered executives cruising around town in chauffeured limousines. But you don’t need to earn an extraordinarily high salary to join the ranks of the wealthy. In fact, if you play your cards right, you can become a millionaire on a fairly ordinary salary — just $56,000 a year, in fact.

Consider having a permanent presence on online by putting up your own website. Use it to share hobbies, thoughts, and passions with others and use your page to make real connections with people. The mechanics are straightforward, and you’ll be in a position to profit from online advertising (e.g. Google Adwords), affiliate marketing (see next slide), and subscriber-based lists to produce a steady stream of income. There are many ways to make money with a blog.

Plan dinners – like my story above, plan a party in a suite or plan a dinner at a restaurant near the conference and invite several people with whom you’d like to connect.  They have to eat too, and having a reservation or arrangements already made so that all they have to do is show up makes it super easy for them.

If your YouTube channel has received over 10,000 views then you can begin to make money from your videos through advertising. YouTube place relevant ads on your videos, which in turn, if clicked on, will earn you money. To get started with this, simply sign up with Google AdSense, and YouTube will take care of the rest.

I’ve never spoken with Bryan before. I am not an investor in Braintree. As far as I know I’m not even an investor (unfortunately) in any of the clients of Braintree. I like to call people who I think have interesting stories and hear what they have to say. That’s the way I build my network of not only financial contacts but potential friends. I’m shy and ugly and don’t have many friends.

I have read many posts and blogs on earning a million dollars or passive income. For some time, I wonder whether striving to be a millionaire for years or decades (as you wrote) it is the thing that people should be guided in life. Maybe it’s better to focus in life on what gives us pleasure and transform it into a business. If in life we make money on our passion, instead of attending to disliked job, we will make money, but it will not be our top priority.

As with any long-term investment, the more time you have for earnings to compound, the more money you can make. If you are wise with your investments, contribute a high portion of your salary, and have time on your side, you will be well on your way to becoming a millionaire.

Fiverr: For $5, you can find all sorts of jobs at Fiverr: Funny and Bizarre, Social Marketing, Graphics, Advertising, Technology, Business, etc. Creative users tend to “value-add” their gigs so as to find broader appeal and better profit.

You can blog about anything you like, from your weird uncle Bob, to politics, your weight loss plan, your lovely girlfriend, to finding a job, how much you hate paying taxes, and everything in between.

You’ll have to invest your time planning your curriculum and recording the videos that will accompany your course. But a high-quality presentation will seem all the more valuable to your potential students.

Don’t online marketers know that when they show the luxury lifestyle through cars, yachts, mansions and wealth, that it is a red flag to SCAM … but it sure is enticing to newbies who have not learnt to google businesses before they put their money into it. I sure hope that when they do that they find your article. By the way, I have also seen that actor before – infact I am sure I used him once to act out a “Happy Birthday” video for my friend – LOL, what a laugh

These programs are not for those people.  This money is for people who want to invest in immediate income producing investments.  Investments they want to OWN not RUN.  Why would you want to work 2 eight-hour days anyway?

STEP 8: Use your $1 billion of new equity to borrow another $9 billion at 0.25% from the Fed. Buy another $9 billion of Treasuries. Collect another $400 million a year. Pay yourself and your team bonuses that are twice as large as last year’s. You deserve it! And you’re now about $500 million to the good.

If anyone owes you money, pick up that phone and collect. If necessary, you can motivate your debtors to pay now by giving them a discount. Sometimes getting $40 now is better than waiting to get $50.

You can become a millioanaire. I think you need to have your average income and then something on the side. Work hard in life. Its the only way to become rich honestly otherwise if it falls on your lap you will just be greedy and stuck up. Working hard makes you reap the rewards and you feel money is hard to come by and value it more.

Thank you for the reminder to just get started. I was sitting here worry about a rebrand and a ton of tiny details. I needed a kick-in-the-pants to get back to writing and adding value. Your podcast was very inspiring!

People and one woman in particular is one that is a paid actor that does reviews for other things online that are scams in Binary Trading and other things that are flat out lies. Real money making requires some real work and effort.. don’t be fooled. Use common sense….
