Financially successful people do at least one thing better than just about everyone around them. (Of course it helps if you pick something to be great at that the world also values–and will pay for.)
If you’re in one of the 10 states with bottle bills, you can return empty cans and bottles to the store for the deposit refund. I once made $1,500 collecting soda cans at work, although it took months, and I lived in Michigan, where the deposit is 10 cents each (in other states it’s typically 5 cents).
Special note: Most brokers typically have minimum amounts for opening a Roth IRA, usually $3,000. Sometimes they’ll waive the minimums if you set up an automatic payment plan depositing, say, $100/month.
If your job isn’t golden handcuffs, but rather just plain old handcuffs, that’s a problem. It shows you aren’t in the right vehicle. When I talk about different types of vehicles, I’m talking about different companies you can trade your time and talent for in exchange for money.

After one interview with one of the millionaires I met through HARO, we chatted for hours. I mentioned I had created a mastermind group, and he said he was looking for one. Once my group had an opening, we invited him and he has been part of our group for years now.
One good thing about government contracts is that you might not need to finance the project with your money; you can serve as the middleman between the government and the company that will do the job and still make your cool one million US dollars or more within a year.
Keep finances a priority. Write financial goals down and refer to these regularly. To stay interested in financial projects, write reminders and put them where they will be seen every day – for instance, on the bathroom mirror or the dashboard of your car.
Here at Kiplinger’s, we’re old-fashioned. We think it’s a lot more fun becoming rich than being born that way. Our culture and economy encourage risk-taking, pursuing good ideas and dogged determination. Luck plays a part, too.
So like I mentioned above I’ve got mixed thoughts about My Millionaire Mentor and the reason is because this is not really a product, it’s just a sales system for MOBE. I recently wrote my review of MOBE here which is a direct sales business and gave it a positive review because the company is definitely not a scam. However I’m tempted to say My Millionaire Mentor is a scam because the sales video and everything claimed is not really accurate.
Interest on your money is just one way to make income online. Another way that is profitable is affiliate marketing. More work required, but some are very good and profitable to do. Sponsorship is usually required. Some with little effort. Here are a few I like.
According to what I read it is much easier than ever before to become a millionaire nowadays. There are more millionaires now than it’s been. And this is mostly attributed to the home values in the past years. Home equities and rising appreciation of real estate makes it possible to a lot of Americans to be considered millionaires. However, the past two years the real estate market has been hit hard, home values have depreciated back into the 2003 level.
You don’t have to how to become a millionaire without winning the lottery up anything to become wealthy. Financial security is a choice, not a sacrifice. There will be trade-offs, of course; you may not buy or do something today so you can buy or do something else later. But that, too, is a choice. You’re deciding what’s most important to you, so whatever you don’t buy or do today isn’t really a sacrifice — it’s just something that isn’t as important to you.
Not a millionaire yet? Don’t get discouraged. This level of wealth is attainable within a lifetime. By making smart financial decisions and following a road map that includes a few key strategies, it’s entirely possible to become a millionaire. It also means you’ll need to live beneath your means, which is a far cry from the millionaire lifestyle many of us have become conditioned to expect.
Hey Tim, I just finished watching your How to make millions DVD. It was awesome, I have learned so much. The different strategies are a big help, I haven’t found mine but I’m tweaking all of the ones I seen in the DVD or getting idea’s from them. I wouldn’t waste 36 hours of my life watching just some random DVD, this truly has been inspiring.
FYI Everyone….Always keep in mind…..any program that says you could make thousands of dollars in such a short time….is a scam. If such a program did exist you wouldn’t be seeing shabby videos about it floating around on the internet. In fact, you wouldn’t be seeing ANY advertising about it because legitimate program opportunities are passed through word of mouth!
The fifth principle that allowed me to become a millionaire was the fact I have never stopped learning. While a lot of people want to stop learning once they graduate college, a continued investment in knowledge is an investment that pays off!
To give you some idea as to how lucrative a long term investment strategy is when it comes to cryptocurrency, I bought 100 Litecoin at $5.89 back in 2014. It’s now trading around $270 each. That means I have $27k worth of Litecoins from an initial investment of $580.
You will end up like the other “victims” that gave in to this millionaire mentor scam and trying to sell it, even if you know it is a bullshit product. Do not be the next person who try to post positive reviews about some bullshit that DO NOT even work in any way.
It depends, really. For example, a company that will need more assets for the production of their products will need more money. On the other hand, a company that probably will not have many expenses could be started with less money. There are many examples of people who started their own business without high amount of money and succeeded. If you have a great idea, pursue it and start your business with as much assets as you have and need to invest. Ultimately, it will pay off and you will gain profit.
